COMPOUNDING STERILE PREPARATION

Empty Sterile Bags

Empty Sterile Bags for infusion with innovative needle-free syringe access

  • Patented

Empty Sterile Bags for infusion provide a practical and safe single-use solution for the preparation and administration of medications. Since certain molecules cannot tolerate the heat of terminal sterilization, these gamma-sterilized bags are specifically designed for filling in an aseptic environment. They are made with high-quality materials, free of latex and PVC, and feature a design intended to streamline every stage of the process: from filling to infusion, all the way to final disposal.

FEATURES

  • CE 0373 medical device.
  • Sterile packaging.
  • Transparent wrapping: facilitates visual inspection of the bag’s integrity in accordance with ISO 11607.
  • Advanced materials: polypropylene-based multilayer. Free of PVC, natural rubber latex, and phthalates (DEHP).
  • Ease of use: the bag’s design reduces folds created during the filling process and facilitates the flow of solutions.
  • Low environmental impact: produced using polyolefins, which are recyclable. Thanks to its design, the bag returns to a compact shape after use, simplifying disposal.
  • Innovative access to the bag: the Needle-less Injection Port (NIP®) connector allows multiple accesses to the bag, ensuring a hermetic seal both before and after each connection.

Our patented needle-free NIP® component is a connector designed to provide a safe and practical method for inserting and withdrawing medications from the infusion bag, without the need for needle syringes.

ADVANTAGES

  • Safety: eliminates the risk of accidental needlesticks and unintended bag punctures during mixture preparation.
  • Patented design: provides a hermetic seal of the bag after each use, preventing fluid leaks.
  • Closed system: facilitates the aseptic transfer of drugs into or out of the bag.
  • Facilitated handling: integrated wings for a secure, firm grip during manipulation, making filling and administration easier.
